We compose, produce, record, mix & master, …

Hendrix Studios is built in an authentic 80’s theater. We record on stage, in a well treated dry-room and/or in a custom made vocal booth.
This way, various instruments/voices can be recorded without cross-talk.
Stage & lights are also available for video recordings.

The facility is located within a huge sports center
(Olympia Hasselt – www.oly.be ) and offers multiple side activities (restaurant, parking, …)

RECORDING

Hendrix Studios is much more than a digital home studio. As an experienced multi-instrumentalist combined with all kinds of recording gear (analogue & digital), we offer the full spectrum. From acoustic drum recordings with high quality 'Outboard Gear (*)' up to digitally produced plug-in based instruments & effects. A perfect combination of analogue and digital. We call it the Hybrid way, the convenience of high quality digital audio editing (plug-ins; VST-plug-ins; modeling; ...), directly combined and enriched with the analogue vibe. Recording is done in 3 rooms/areas depending the specified requirements: the treated mix room (+/- 15m²), on stage (> 60m²) & the tailor made vocal booth (+/- 2m²).

(*) Outboard Gear: Seperate analogue hardware equipment such as pre-amps, audio-compressors, eq's, ...

MIXING

Another important aspect in music production is the post sound & music services including mixing & mastering. Although 'Mix & Master' is offered as a separate skill, Hendrix Studios also offers this final production phase. Our mixing/recording room has been acoustically treated to mix and master your audio projects.

WANT TO BOOK OUR STUDIO?

Hendrix Studios has 3 recording areas, The treated mix room (+/-15m²), the on-stage area (>60m²), & the vocal booth. All spaces offer numerous possibilities. Mainly used as an audio recording studio, the space is also deployable for recording film and/or photo shoots. Using the studio is always accompanied by the producer or our technical staff. A studio assignment can consist of a few hours of recording or can be a part or the complete elaboration of a record.

Easily accessible back stage entrance (for loading/unloading gear)
Food & drinks (Sport Center Olympia Hasselt)
Relaxation after the studio session (Snooker, Bowling, Squash, ...)

FAQ:

1. What are our rates?
Making use of the studio is rated per hour (€40,00/h) or is determined for each particular session (price to be defined up front).

2. When will booked studio sessions take place?
The studio can be used 7/7d 24/24h. Practical arrangements with regard to combined activities and possible noise nuisance lead to restrictions. A timely booked time slot tells the story.

3. Payment
Studio usage will be charged by the hour or by assignment. In both cases, the activity will be invoiced after. Make sure your coordinates are known by the end of your studio session. Please make sure you pay confirm to the conditions mentioned on the invoice.
